World Cup 2022: We are now dreaming of lifting the cup – Morocco coach Walid Regragui

The head coach of the Morocco national team, Walid Regragui has assured that his players will fight for a chance to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup after reaching the semi-finals.

Last week, the tactician led the Atlas Lions to a delightful 1-0 win against Portugal in the quarter-finals of the tournament being staged in Qatar.

Speaking in an interview, Coach Walid Regragui has credited his players for working hard since the start of the tournament.

According to him, he is happy to be in charge of Morocco and will try his best to help the Atlas Lions to conquer the world.

“It is not about miracles, but about the hard work that we have gone through during our journey so far. The World Cup is wonderful for the players. I was hoping to participate in the tournament as a player, but fate gave me the opportunity to return as a coach to become the happiest person on the face of the earth. Earth, now we can dream of winning the World Cup,” coach Walid Regragui said.

The semi-final match between Morocco and France will kick off at 19:00GMT at the Education City Stadium on Wednesday, December 14.
