Uruguay forward, Edinson Cavani is confident of a win against Ghana in the final Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The attacker has played all two matches of the group stages for his country. Unfortunately, his quality could not help the South Americans to record a win in any of the games.
Ahead of the final Group H match against Ghana, Edinson Cavani says it is important for Uruguay to bounce back from the defeat to secure a win.
"Leaving points like this, which in the end are costly because losing points in a World Cup is always complicated, it leaves a bitter taste. Now we have to recover, know that there are things to improve and correct, and prepare for the next game as a final should be prepared, because it is the chance we have to take the step we came here for,” the former SSC Napoli poster boy said.
The striker is expected to be in action for Uruguay when they take on Ghana in the final Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Uruguay will need to win that game to stand any chance of advancing to the Round of 16 of the tournament ongoing in Qatar.
