Ghana international, Tariq Lamptey is upbeat ahead of the Group H encounter against South Korea on Monday, November 28.

However, he has stressed that the Black Stars must work very hard to stand any chance of securing the much-needed win.

“I think we get along really well. It’s been an enjoyable camp. Ultimately, we all just have to work hard for us to get the results from the pitch but off the pitch it’s been really good and I think you can see on the pitch as well that we are moving in the right direction so we are looking forward to that and hopefully it continues,” Tariq Lamptey said after Ghana lost 3-2 to Portugal last Thursday.

He continued, “We are blessed to be in the position that we are in. For me especially, it’s my first experience at the World Cup, I am just trying to soak everything and when its time, give my best for the team on the pitch.”

Ghana takes on South Korea tomorrow in a game both national teams must win to stay in contention for qualification to the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
