Wydad Casablanca coach Walid Rekraki return among key factors to club’s triumph over Hearts of Oak

The return of Wydad Athletic Club trainer Walid Rekraki played a key role in their triumph over Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak in the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg.

The Moroccan side inflicted a 6-1 win over the Phobians at the Mohammed V Stadium to progress to the money zone of the Champions League on Sunday.

The Phobians went into the return fixture with a 1-0 advantage but were unable to maintain it as they suffered their heaviest defeat in Africa on Sunday.

The coach sent important messages to his players, motivating them throughout the days leading up to the match, assuring them of their ability to make up for their loss in Ghana.
