The attacker started the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season on a very good note where he continuously banged in the goals for the Dormaa base-club.

Having set his sight on emerging as the top scorer of the top-flight league at the end of the campaign, the brakes were put on his form in March when the football season was suspended as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

In a post on social media, Yahaya Mohammed has revealed how he is missing the game after staying at home without actively playing for the last 2 months.
