Yahaya Mohammed closing in on Ashanti Gold SC move

Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is on the verge of joining Ashanti Gold SC in the on-going transfer window.

Mohammed is expected his complete his move in the next 72 hours following fruitful talks between parties Aduana Stars and Ashgold.

The 32-year-old scored 11 goals in 15 appearances for the Ogya Lads in the truncated 19/20 Ghana Premier League season.

The Obuasi-based club is in the transfer market as they aim to boost their attack ahead of their appearance in the CAF Confederations Cup, next season and the club's technical team find Yahaya Mohammed suitable addition.

The Miners have already lost some key players due to their refusal to renew their contracts and have been working on new arrivals.

According to footballmadeinghana.com, negotiations between AshGold President Dr. Kwaku Frimpong and Aduana Stars FC owner Nana Agyemang Badu took place over the weekend and Nana Agyemang Badu has paved way for the player (who has agreed personal terms with AshGold) to make the move to Obuasi.

The deal is set to be officially confirmed on Wednesday.
