Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed has been given a call-up into the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sudan this month according to reports.
The 31 year old has been excellent so far this season, scoring 10 goals in 12 games for the Ogya boys. The former Asante Kotoko striker also earned the Ghana Premier League Nasco Player of the Month for January.
Yahaya made his debut for the Black Stars in a 2007 friendly against Senegal, Yahaya represented Ghana at the 2011 African Nations Championship (Chan) in Sudan.
New Black Stars coach CK Akonnor is expected to name his maiden squad for the double-header on Tuesday.
