Ghana Black Meteors defender Issah Yakubu has reiterated that they are bent on qualifying to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The talented central defender pointed out that it has been over a decade that the Black Meteors made it to the world stage in Olympic football and they are bent on breaking the jinx.
“We have not qualified for the Olympic games since 2004 and this is a big challenge for us, we are very motivated to qualify as our names will be in history books.” Yakubu told footballmadeinghana.com
Ghana must see off Gabon over two legs to get to the Under 23 AFCON and must reach the semis to make it to Tokyo.
