Ghanaian tactician Yaw Preko has expressed his excitement after officially joining Nsoatreman FC as their new head coach.

The former Medeama and Great Olympics coach reportedly signed a two-year contract with the Nsoatre-based club.

Preko replaced Maxwell Konadu, who left the club to join South African side Black Leopards.

He is expected to lead Nsoatreman FC in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season.

Speaking in an interview, the former Ghana international shared his joy after joining the reigning FA Cup champions as their new coach.

“A lot of coaches were shortlisted and for Nsoatreman FC to settle on me shows I’m capable of replacing Maxwell Konadu at the club. I’m glad to have joined them as their new coach and we will see how it goes” he said.

Yaw Preko will commence work with immediate effect as the team gear up for their maiden participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Nsoatreman FC will know their preliminary round opponent on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in a draw set to be held in Cairo, Egypt.
