YEA has done well to reduce the cost on Women's football - Coach Adotey

Clubs all over the world are facing financial challenges due to coronavirus pandemic.

In Ghana, women's football (clubs) are suffering most, because already some team owners don't pay them, they "only" give them accommodation.

Thanks to the government who have accepted to support women's football through Youth Employment Agency(YEA) and former Black Maidens head coach, Evans Adotey has praised the Agency for their good decision on women's football

"Youth Employment Agency has done well because it will help women's football. The burden on club owners will be reduced because in Ghana we don't earn nothing from women's team," he told WESTFM.

"Some owners of women's team in Ghana deserve praises. They are doing great job despite all the huge cost, they are still doing their best to protect the ladies especially in this time of COVID-19."

The former U-17 female coach now Assistance coach for the U-20 Male team believes football will return very soon.
