Yeni Malatyaspor midfielder out with knee injury

Yeni Malatyaspor midfielder Afriyie Acquah will be out for two to four weeks due to a knee injury, the club has confirmed.

The 28-year-old hit his knee during a Turkish top flight encounter with Kayserispor and will be out for a while.

This comes as a blow to the club who view him as an important player.

"As a result of the examinations and examinations of Acquah, who came out of the game as a result of the blow to the knee in the Kayserispor match, 1st degree strain and edema in the knee were detected," the club stated.

"It is predicted that our football player will stay away from the fields for 2-4 weeks."

Acquah last played for the Black Stars in the AFCON qualifiers against Sudan.
