Talented youngster, Jeremie Frimpong was in action for Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday afternoon and played a key role to inspire the team to a big win in the German Bundesliga.

The Dutch defender who is of Ghanaian descent started for his club in the home match against Hertha Berlin.

Just 12 minutes into the first half, Jeremie Frimpong got himself involved in the action as he provided an assist for Sardar Azmoun to score to give Bayer Leverkusen the lead.

Ten minutes later, the youngster got into a good position himself and equalised to double the lead for his team.

Unfortunately, an injury he suffered meant he had to be substituted before the halftime break.

Thanks to additional goals from Moussa Diaby and Amine Adli, Bayer Leverkusen held on to record a 4-1 win.

Striker Dodi Lukebakio netted the only consolation goal for Hertha Berlin.
