Yunus Musah pens six-year deal with Valencia

New York born youngster Yunus Musah has signed a new six-year contract with Valencia to extend his stay at the Spanish top tier side.

The 18-year-old broke into the first team this season and produced a consistent number of impressive performances, much to the delight of the coaching staff and teammates.

The teenager attracted huge interest from multiple clubs which triggered Valencia to act quickly and get him to sign a deal.

It is Musah's first professional deal at the club. The youngster expressed his happiness after signing the deal.

"I'm very happy to have signed for Valencia CF and now to have renewed my contract," he told the Valencia team media.

"I can't wait for what the future holds. It's a dream come true for myself and for my family. Something that I've dreamed of ever since I was young was to have a first-team contract with a big club. For that to happen at Valencia CF is even bigger."

"As always, I thank God for making this possible. My parents, my family and everybody else have worked really hard to help me get here. It's a great moment and a great thing to achieve."

He is eligible to feature for the Black Stars should he choose to switch allegiances. Currently, Musah has played two friendlies with the US national team.
