Yusif Basigi discloses he's been coaching Hasaacas Ladies for 18 years without salary

Hasaacas Ladies head coach Yusif Basigi says he has been coaching the club for the past 18 years without salary.

Basigi led the Ghanaian champions to clinch five trophies in six months after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the maiden edition of the First Lady’s Cup last Friday.

Hasaacas won the Ghana Women's Premier League title, the FA Cup, Super Cup, The WAFU Zone B title as well as finishing runners-up in the maiden edition of the CAF Women's Champions League in Egypt.

"I have been coaching Hasaacas Ladies for 18 years. I'm the first coach of the team when it was formed in June 2003," Basigi told Angel FM.

"I have coached all these years without a salary. My joy is seeing a lot of young girls transforming their lives through football"

Coach Basigi will lead Hasaacas Ladies to defend their Ghana Women's Premier League title when it begins later this month.
