Yussif Chibsah set to be appointed as International Relations Officer of Kotoko

Former Asante Kotoko defender Yussif Alhassan Chibsah is set to be appointed as the new International Relations Officer of the club, according to reports.

Chibsah is being considered for the role by the newly structured Board of the Kumasi-based side led by Dr. Kwame Kyei

The 36-year-old is one of the influential Ghanaian footballers in the last two decades after hanging his boots in 2017.

He is now a licensed FIFA intermediary for Club Consult Africa and also serves as the Player Relations Officer for the Professional Football Association of Ghana (PFAG).

He spent three seasons at the Porcupine Warriors before leaving for Swedish club IFK Mariehamn.

He captained the Black Meteors at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and also part of the Black Stars squad that competed at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Chibsah represents a Portuguese kit manufacturing company STRIKE in Africa.
