Dreams FC's General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, has revealed that several players from the club have caught the eye of various African clubs, including champions Zamalek from the 2018/19 season.

This revelation heightens speculation surrounding the potential departure of standout players like Abdul Azziz Issah.

Shardow made these remarks during an appearance on Citi TV on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He disclosed that discussions with interested clubs have ensued but clarified that they are still in the preliminary stages.

"Almost the whole team have attracted interest from some clubs in Afirca, but those are just conversations.

"After losing to Zamalek, before they left to Cairo, they left us some email about certain players in our team."

Despite reaching the semi-finals in their debut appearance, the Still Believe side exited the competition following a 3-0 defeat to African heavyweights Zamalek.

Nevertheless, they made history by becoming the first Ghanaian team to reach the semi-finals since Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko achieved the feat in 2004.
