As Manchester United fans continue to revel intheir team's 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Sunday, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed what he told Paul Pogba, moments before the Frenchman crashed the ball against the away side's goal frame with a long range free-kick.

With United leading 1-0 in the second half, thanks to match winner Henrik Mkhitaryan's goal, the hosts won a free-kick, some 25 yards out from goal.

Whilst the obvious choice to take the set piece appeared to be Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba surprised many when he stepped up and sent the ball agonisingly close to the Spurs net.

Speaking after the match to MUTV, Ibrahimovic revealed the classic Zlatan advice he gave tohis teammate, just moments before Pogba kicked the ball.

The Swede said to MUTV (viaGoal):"I said to Paul, 'You better shoot in the goal, because this is the last free-kick I'll give you.

"Nah, he shot into the crossbar. If it had gone in it would have given us more space, not to calm down, but you feel more confident when you're 2-0 up because you never know - especially after the last game when we concede at the end."

Quite a tough gig for Pogba then, but apparently striking the postwasn't good enough for Ibrahimovic, who sounds like he'll be taking the next free-kick that United have.
