Aduana Stars to use Cape Coast stadium as alternative venue for CAF Champions League

Ghana Premier League Champions Aduana Stars have opted to use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as an alternative venue for the CAF Champions League should the Dormaa park fail to meet CAF requirements.

The Dormaa based Club have already began refurbishment of the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in a bid to meet the Confederation of African Football requirements.

According to reports, the Brong Ahafo club will choose the Cape Coast Stadium if CAF is not satisfied with the Dormaa.

Officials of Africa's football governing body will arrive in the country to inspect progress on the Nana Agyeman Badu park.

This follows assessments made by the clubs officials, indicating it will be less costly to use the Cape Coast Stadium.

Meanwhile, the two times Ghana Premier League Champions have been paired with Libyan side Al Tahaddy in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Aduana will travel to Libya in the first leg on the weekend of 9-11 February before host the same opponents a week later in Ghana, either in Dormaa or Cape Coast.
