Divock Origi Dismisses Juventus Rumours and Insists He's Focused on Liverpool

Divock Origi is convinced he will be a star at Liverpool despite missing the majority of the season due to injury - couple thatwith the fact there's a lot of competition ahead of him and it will be a challenge to get in the starting eleven.

The Belgium international has been amongst the substitutes when not on the sidelines due to injury this season, but the 21-year-old isn't worrying about first team prospects and knows he has to be patient to get his chance. He insisted he'll stay put at Anfield despite rumours linking him with Juventus.

Hetold reporters this week: I've not heard it. It's a rumour, as there are many. No, I concentrate fully on Liverpool and the Belgium national team.

He continued:I've started both matches of the League Cup, and I scored in both games, Liverpool have won almost every game.We lost against Burnley and drew against Tottenham. A manager never changes his winning team.

It does not matter to me. Klopp believes in me and says I have to be patient. He asked me to stay calm, which is not easy for a footballer. I want to play and be the decisive player that I was last season.I scored 10 goals in no time. Everything can turn quickly in football.

Origi has only managed to get 275 minutes this season, along with two starts against Burton Albion and Derby County both in the EFL Cup. Still, he isn't getting frustrated about not getting the game time required to be an Anfield star.

Roberto Firmino is currently keeping Daniel Sturridge and Origi out of the starting line-up;signed as an attacking midfielder, the Brazilianhas occupied the striker position and made it his own. Indeed, he scored the equalising goal against Swansea on Saturday and Liverpool went on to take all three points.
