Dreams FC defender Emmanuel Eli Keke has played down threats from the “big guns” ahead of next year’s GHALCA 2018 tournament.

Dreams FC have been drawn in Group A alongside Premier League champions Aduana Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko, winners of the 2017 MTN FA Competition but Manuel believes there’s no need to feel pressured and nervous against these two sides.

“No, honestly I do not feel tensed personally because this is not my first time playing against a team like Kotoko or Aduana in Kumasi”. We need to have confidence and to look at the highs and lows from our previous matches, assess ourselves and I think we can match them,” he told Dreamsfc.com.gh in an exclusive chat.

He rather insists a good showing in the competition would be a sign of good fortune for the club during the 2017/18 Premier League season.

“Definitely we are going all in 100% and we won’t be holding back anything because this will also serve as a morale boosting tourney for us going into the new season. Some of my colleagues are yet to experience such at atmosphere but this would change after the G8”.

Dreams kick start the prestigious fiesta on January 6 in a tricky duel against Aduana Stars before playing Asante Kotoko in the second group game on Wednesday January 10, 2018.

The Still believe lads have a date with promoted Eleven Wonders on January 13, in the third and final group fixture of the competition.
