Manchester United winger Ashley Young has shed some interesting light on the goings-on in the usually secretive Manchester United dressing room, detailinghis 'status' in the Red Devils' hierarchy.

Apparently, the 31-year-old is in charge of playing the music in the dressing room andsays he sits next to captain Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly -much to the envy of the rest of the squad.

Speaking toKicca, the playersaid: ''Now Eric [Bailly] is there, me, Wazza [Rooney] and Ibra, which grabs the attention of the rest of the squad.

''It's quite a cool corner actually¦it's the corner that everyone looks over, like 'oh, what's going on over there?'''

In fairness,Young is humble enough to add that it could be because of the availability of sockets in the wall. Clearly, these things are quite important nowadays, with everyone needing their various devices fully charged whenever possible.

"I think it's because we have the plug sockets as well, and everyone wants to charge phones and laptops before they travel.

"Yeah, that might be it."

The former Aston Villa man may be sitting in the best position in the dressing room, but he's also mostly sitting on the bench come game time. Young hasn't played since United beat Swansea City 3-1 in early November, and has been linked with a move away.

Everton, Swansea, West Brom and Watford are all said to have a keen interest in signing the attacker, who can also slot in as a full-back or wing-back.

It's quite likely that he'll makes a move in the January window, as Jose Mourinho does not seem to have him in his plans.
