Emmanuel Gyemfi set for contract renewal at Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to extend the contract of winger Emmanuel Gyamfi before the start of the new season, footballghana.com has gathered.

According to close sources, Emmanuel Gyamfi will be handed a contract extension having spent two years with the Ghanaian giants, after joining from Wa All Stars.

Gyemfi was one of Kotoko's best players last season scoring two goals for Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League and providing five assists.

The Porcupine Warriors want to tie down their valuable players ahead of next season’s campaign in Africa.

The Reds will be playing in the CAF Confederations Cup after winning the MTN FA Cup competition beating Hearts of Oak in the finals.

The Porcupine Warriors will also be looking forward to better their performance in the League next season after finishing fifth.

Coach Steve Polack will take the team through their pre-season exercise when he returns from holidays in the UK.
