Eric Kumi delighted to join Japanese side Ococias Kyoto AC

Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Eric Kumi has says he is delighted after completing his move to Japanese side Ococias Kyoto AC. 

The 26-year-old joined Kyoto AC from Tunisian club Stade Tunisien on Sunday and will feature in the Kansai Soccer League.

He left Accra Hearts of Oak in 2017 to join  Stade Tunisien says he is delighted to make the switch to Asia, where the likes of Spanish duo Iniesta and Fernando Torres are all playing.

'I'm happy to join Ococias Kyoto AC football club to play' He told the club official site.

'I'm relatively new here but I like the culture and the people here in my new team'.

"I wish to repay them on success from my part on the field."

"I wish my stay here Ococias Kyoto AC will be a blessing and success for me and my country Ghana' He added.

Kyoto AC finished second last season in the Kansai Soccer League and have set a target having an even better campaign this year.
