Black Princesses midfield powerhouse, Ernestina Abambila has thanked Ghanaians for their support to the team despite the disappointing performances at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France.
the country's female U-20 side failed to progress to the knockout phase of the competition after losing their first two games to France and the Netherlands.
The Black Princesses were thumped in the first game by hosts France 4-1 and were thrashed by the Netherlands 4-0.
However, the team earned some pride after beating New Zealand in the final game of the group to bow out gracefully.

The Black Princesses were making their fifth appearance at the FIFA U-20 World Cup but failed to achieve the target they set of reaching the knockout phase.
The team will be expected to arrive in the coming days as the country prepares to host the Africa Women's Championship in November.
