Some coaches have not done anything but have been given Black Stars job – Mohammed Polo

Former Ghana and Hearts of Oak player Mohammed Polo says some coaches have no track record but have been given the Black Stars coaching job.

The outspoken former coach of the Phobians was aiming his dig at current Black Stars coach Otto Addo who he claims is not ready for the task.

Mohammed Polo further went on to claim that the former Borussia Dortmund talent coach was forced to take up the senior national team coach job.

Polo also believes that Karim Zito’s CV shows he is more deserving of the position than Otto Addo.

"Today, Karim Zito can hit his chest that he's been able to advance Dreams FC to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup because others could not do that.

"Through that, his CV shows that he can be advanced to the highest level which is the Black Stars level so he can be progressed, but there are coaches who haven't done anything and they are given the job to do."

Otto Addo was appointed Ghana head coach in March this year for a second stint after earlier leading Ghana to the 2022 World Cup.
