Ghana-born Mitch Apau wants to play for the Black Stars

Dutch Ghanaian-born Mitch Apau has stated his desire to represent the Black Stars at international level.

Apau who is born to Ghanaian parents but have been leaving in the Netherlands is eligible to play for Ghana.

The 27-year-old who currently plays his club football at Belgian side Westerlo says he will welcome an opportunity to play for Ghana.

“I have followed Ghana for some time now, I watched them at the Cup of Nations and also watched them at the World Cup,” he spoke to Kasapa FM.

“It is a great Nations and a good football county with some great players and I will be happy to play for Ghana.

“Although there were attempts at my early years in Holland to play I felt I should represent by real country, I fell more Ghanaian.”
