Ghana midfielder, Richard Boateng made his Real Oviedo debut in a preseason friendly against Vetusta in Spain on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old started the friendly against Vetusta and help them to a 1-0 win over their opponents.
The midfielder joined Oviedo from UD Melila after a spectacular season, where he scored 15 goals from 31 appearances.
The former Liberty Professionals player has been preparing for the upcoming campaign with the side, who are poised on earning promotion to the top flight.
Boateng was awarded the best goal of the just ended Segunda division following his long-range effort against Jumilla last season.
His move to Real Oviedo is seen as a giant step as the club expect him to be key in the upcoming season.
The Ghanaian previously played for Granada, Aris Limassol and Extremadura UD.
