Inter defender puts big price tag on himself

Amid constant transfer speculation, Milan Skriniar has slapped a €70 million valuation on his own head and outlined his willingness to remain at Inter.

Throughout recent months, the centre-back has been linked with moves to both Barcelona and Bayern Munich as a result of his formidable displays at the heart of the Nerazzurri defence.

In a light-hearted interview with YouTube channel Sajfa, the Slovakian shared his thoughts on whether or not he’s the biggest star in the dressing room and how much it would cost any interested suitors to snap him up.

“I’m happy at Inter but I don’t know if I’m the biggest star here! There are other guys who have been here for longer and for me, the biggest is [Mauro] Icardi,” he said.

“For now, I’m not thinking about leaving Inter but you never know and anything can happen in the transfer market. I’ve read about the Barcelona and Bayern Munich interest.

“But not everything that you read on the internet is true. It wasn’t all made up either but it wasn’t anything official. In terms of what I’m worth, I think something around €70m, but I’m not sure.”

Skriniar also revealed that when he was a child, both he and his brother had a soft spot for Real Madrid and Barcelona.
