Inter Milan Coach Keen on Mario Balotelli

Roberto Mancini has informed Inter Milan that he wants to bring back Mario Balotelli as part of his rebuilding of the squad, according toTuttoSport. The 25-year-old Italian striker played for Inter Milan from 2007-2010, where Mancini was the manager in his first season. The two reunitedat Manchester City from 2010-2013.

Balotelli has always been seen as a potential world-class player, but his immaturity and bad work ethic have hampered his progress and led to a series of disappointing seasons. His best season came under Mancini in 2011-12, when he scored 13 goals in 23 appearances and helped City to their first Premier League title since 1968.

Jurgen Klopp has informed Balotelli that he will not play much if he chooses to stay at Liverpool, and he is free to leave. Liverpool are hoping to sell him for close to the£16m that they paid for him two years ago, but that seems unlikely as he has been a huge flop for the Reds, scoring just one goal for them.

Italian legend Andrea Pirlo said Balotelli can still be a top player if he starts taking his career seriously. "I have played with some of the best strikers, and I can tell you Mario has all the attributes to be one of the best strikers in the world", said Pirlo.
