Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has called on the fans of the club to remain positive ahead of the finals of the MTN FA cup after fans complained about their inability to score more goals.

Kotoko lost their last game to Bechem United and were wasteful in front of goal, the team had to labour for goal against Medeama in the semifinal of the FA Cup but the English man insist the team is working on that.

"It's not so much about the lack of chances because we do create a lot," he said in an interview with AsanteKotokosc.com.

"We practice shooting nearly every day and fans who are regular at our training sessions can attest to the quality of our finishing. The goals go in left, right and center."

"Many have questioned the strikers' confidence but it is rather more of their composure. Our players think too much. Only thing on mind when in a good position is to shoot to score," Polack added.

Pollack however credited the solidity in defence, following the fact that the team has been one of the least conceded team in the Ghana Premier League.

"It is important that we defend well. We have more chance of winning a game that way." He's however quick to admit that "though a good defense ensures wins, the team cannot entirely rest on its defensive quality to churn out results in every game."

"We have two games more to go in the league and a cup final as well. We have to find our shooting boots and I'm positive we would to ensure that our target of a top 4 finish with a cup title won't elude us.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will face Berekum Chelsea in the penultimate game in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
