Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ernest Sowah insists he wants to leave the club after being accused of taking bribe by the Chief Executive of the Club, Dr. Kwame Kyei.

According to the former Ghana youth goalkeeper, the C.E.O of the club accused him of taking bribe in the match day 30 of the Ghana Premier League against Liberty Professionals. A game they lost.

However, the aggrieved goalkeeper has dismissed the accusation but insists he is not happy at the club and feels frustrated at the Reds.

"Dr Kwame Kyei accused me of taking bribe in front of the playing Body inside the dressing room immediately after the GPL week 30 game against Liberty professionals," he told Angel FM.

"I have one more year left in my contract, I am pleading not to the supporters but rather to the management of Asante Kotoko to terminate my contract mutually. I am not happy at the club," he added.

The former Don Bosco goalkeeper boosted he was well off before joining the Kumasi based club and felt disgusted with such news.

"I came to kotoko not as a poor man ,I don't lack I have my own house ,I have cars ...how on earth will I take bribe from Liberty professionals ?,

"I told Dr Kwame Kyei after that accusation that, for what God has done for me, how on earth will i do such a thing ?" Sowah quizzed.

The former Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper was conspicuously missing in a leaked list for the CAF Confederations Cup next season confirming the rift between him and the club.
