Erik Lamela is close to a return to first-team action as he recovers from a long-standing hip injury.
The Tottenham playmaker underwent surgery in April after spending large part of last season on the sidelines.
Spurs are hopeful the Argentina international will be available for selection after next month's international break.
Mauricio Pochettino's side will be desperate for Lamela to return to full health as their dearth of creative options has so far hindered their season.
