Leeds United are closing a deal for Manchester United fullback Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.

ESPN says United defender has agreed to move to Elland Road for the whole season on-loan.

He is free to leave Old Trafford after being left out of Jose Mourinho's pre-season plans.

Borthwick-Jackson, 20, spent last term with Wolves but managed just seven appearances in all competitions before the spell was terminated early.

The Manchester-born left-back broke into the United first team during Louis van Gaal's reign.

He made his senior debut in November 2015 and played 14 times in his maiden campaign, winning the club's Under-21 player of the year award.
