Medeama SC owner Moses Armah has stated that financial support is not coming from anywhere in their quest to win this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian side are currently in 2nd place with 8 points and could make a historic semi final berth with a point in their last game with MO Bejaia.

Medeama who are in financial crisis due to their African campaign have written several letters to the Sports Ministry and other stakeholders seeking for some financial help but all has proven futile.

“It sometimes feel so discouraged to continue doing football since no help comes from anywhere when needed,” Moses Armah told Accra based radio station Hot FM.

“I must add that Goldfields Tarkwa Darmai has been one of my strong bones this season especially in Africa, may God bless them in return”

Medeama will battle Algerian giants MO Beijaia on August 23rd in Algeria in their last group stage match.
