FIFA U-20 world cup winner Sellas Tetteh has been appointed the substantive coach of Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals.

The former Ghana U-20 and Rwanda coach is expected to lead Liberty into the next season as head coach having previously served as the Technical Director for the club.

Tetteh, has his work cut-out for him especially after Liberty only escaped relegation last season courtesy the heroics of the now departed 17-goal Ghanaian league topscorer Latif Blessing.

He replaces George Lamptey who exited the club at the end of last season citing personal reasons.

Sellas Tetteh recently returned to his Liberty Professional Technical Director role after a short spell with the Sierra Leone.

He led Ghana's Black Satellites to victory at the 2009 World Youth Championship in Egypt.
