Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nuttal says the the top level performance displayed by two most glamorous clubs in the country on Sunday in the Super Clash is a good advertisement for domestic league.

Accra Hearts of Oak held Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a pulsating draw in a highly explosive game that drew a lot of fans to the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

The Scotsman who is impressed by the performance of his players and the contest they were given hailed the quality on display.

"Both Kotoko and Hearts have quality players and I have to say that the game was a good advert for the Ghana Premier League. It was a difficult game but I think my side did well today," Nuttal said after the game.

The Phobians took the lead in the game after a beautiful interplay in the middle involving playmaker Winful Cobinna. The former Gor Mahia coach praised his players for their performance.

"My players showed a lot of spirit, great character and determination in the game today. We coped with the pressure and got a perfect goal. To be honest I didn't see Kotoko scoring from open play, which they didn't. I am pleased with the performance of my team today,” he added.

"We always try to win every game and get the three points but I have to say that a point in such a big game is also good for us.”

Hearts of Oak are third on the league table, just four points adrift of leaders Aduana Stars and Frank Nuttal insists the phobians won’t give up on the title chase.

"With five games remaining, we are still in the title race. We are in a good situation at the moment and we are going for the title and the FA Cup," said Frank Nutall.
