Head Coach of the Ghana Premier League leaders Enos Kwame Adipah is happy with the performance of his lads in their 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.

Wa All-stars went into the game in Kumasi with hopes of securing maximum points to extend their lead at the top but were undone by the Porcupine warriors thanks to captain Amos Frimpong’s strike in the second half of the game.

The defeat however did not come to Coach Adipah as a bad news. He rather commended his boys for their character in the tough game away to Kotoko.

“I am not disappointed, my boys did excellent. It was miscommunication that led to the goal we considered. They came to my home grounds and I beat them but we were just not lucky this time.” He told the press.

Before the game Coach Adipah stated that Kotoko could only come out of the game with a draw but his words failed him after 90 minutes.

Wa All-stars still occupy top spot despite defeat to Kotoko while the Porcupine warriors snatched second place from the rivals Accra Hearts of Oak who shared the spoils with Liberty Professionals.
