Yahaya Mohammed sets eyes on winning goal king

Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed has stated that he must win this season's Ghana Premier League goal king gong at all cost.

The former Asante Kotoko player has scored 13 goals this season- same goals as Liberty Professionals player Latif Blessing.

But with eight more matches to end this season’s Ghana Premier League, the Aduana star wants to score more goals to clinch the goal king award.

"Since I was converted from a midfielder to an attacker in 2013 when I was playing for Amidaus Professionals and back to Asante Kotoko as a striker, I think this is the time for me to win the goal king award" he said on Nhyira FM.

"As a striker, your target is to score week in week out and be a top scorer.

"If I'm unable to win at the end of the season, I will be okay and keep on to try another season.

"I am very sure by hook or crook I will be top scorer of the league this season."
