Upper East Region most popular football tournament is due to commence in the borders of the region.
It is the 10th edition of Zida tournament slated 21-27 December, 2018 at the games village in Bolgatanga, St.Johns Park.
The tournament which is sponsored by defunct GFA Executive Committee member, Salifu Zida has 20 male football team in the range of Under 11, 13 and 15 and female teams of 10, with no age limit to compete for laurels and bragging right.
Participating teams will be honored with football each as well as prize award to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams in all categories.
