Techiman Eleven Wonders have climbed out of the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League after defeating King Faisal 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The two teams have endured a difficult spell in the 2020/2021 season since the campaign commenced last year.
Today at the Ohene Ameyaw Park, King Faisal hosted Eleven Wonders on matchday 27 of the league season.
Knowing that the three points will be crucial in their fight to survive relegation, both teams set up strong right from the start of the first half.
On the back of a goalless draw at the end of the first half, an improved performance from Eleven Wonders in the second half saw them equalize through Samuel Boakye in the 78th minute.
Holding on to win 1-0 at the end of the 90 minutes, the visitors have now climbed out of the relegation zone as King Faisal drops into the red zone.
