Liberty Professionals have defeated WAFA SC 3-2 in the Ghana Premier League today on the back of an exciting contest.
In a game played at the Red Bull Arena, the relegation-threatened Liberty side opened the scoring after 16 minutes of play when Kingsford Opoku Frimpong fired in from close range.
Unfortunately, the team from Dansoman could not hold on as goals from Augustine Boakye and Justus Tostutsey handed WAFA SC a 2-1 lead to take into the break.
Resuming the second half to stage an inspiring fight, Liberty Professionals managed to get the win.
First, Abraham Wayo scored from the spot to level the score in the 64th minute before Kwaku Karikari equalized in the 72nd minute to steer Liberty to cruise to a 3-2 win at the end of the game.
