Former Asante Kotoko striker, Alex Asamoah scored for Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon when the team defeated Bechem United 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
The attacker despite impressing with his performances since he joined the Techiman-based club has not quite managed to find the back of the net as he would have wanted.
Handed a starting role today, the experienced attacker showed his class and scored with a striker’s finish in the 45th minute to give Eleven Wonders a 2-goal lead.
Before his goal though, a Tetteh Nortey penalty kick had also put the home team in front.
While Bechem United would equalize through a Stephen Owusu penalty in the 77th minute, Eleven Wonders managed to hold on to cruise to an important 2-1 win at the end of the game.
