20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 31: Great Olympics fight to draw 1-1 against Elmina Sharks

Great Olympics on Sunday afternoon put up an impressive second half performance to come from behind to draw 1-1 against Elmina Sharks in the Ghana Premier League.

The Sharks prior to today’s fixture risked falling deep into the relegation zone of the standings should the team lose additional points.

In a game played at the Paa Kwasi Nduom Park, Elmina Sharks players gave their all in a bid to ensure they survive relegation at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

On the matchday, the pulsating encounter that ensued between the two teams saw Elmina Sharks scoring in added time of the first half through in-form Tahir Mensah to take the lead.

With Great Olympics doing well by attacking the home team’s defense in the second half, they managed to score in added time to force the match to end in a 1-1 stalemate.
