2018 AWCON: Cameroonian Striker Gaelle Enganamouit claims she understands the vanderlizers

Cameroonian Striker Gaelle Enganamouit says the mob that attacked her family home is forgiven and urged them to understand that everything happens for a reason.

Enganamouit had her home ransacked and vandalised following her penalty miss against Nigeria in the semi-finals where they lost on penalties at the ongoing Africa Women's Cup of Nations at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

Speaking to the press for the first time after the painful incident, she advised that God has a plan for everybody and has nothing offensive against them.

“I understand how people look up to my standing but will be back to my best soonest,” she said.

"I know what they want but they need to understand everything is not how we planned it”.

“God has a plan for everybody, I always believe God and I put everything in the hands of him."

However, she helped Cameroon qualify to its second FIFA World Cup in a row after walloping Mali 4-2 to win bronze in the third-place match.
