Benjamin Bernard Boateng scores consolation goal in Al Ittihad Alexandria's 4-1 defeat to Al Ahly SC

Ghanaian forward Benjamin Bernard Boateng scored a consolation goal in Al Ittihad Alexandria's 4-1 defeat to Al Ahly SC on Tuesday evening.

Despite the loss, Boateng's performance was a bright spot for his team, as he continued his impressive form this season.

The head-to-head record between the two teams before the game was heavily in favor of Al Ahly SC, with 17 wins, compared to Al Ittihad Alexandria's 2 wins, and 5 draws. The match lived up to expectations, with Al Ahly SC dominating possession and taking more shots on goal.

Boateng came on as a substitute in the 46th minute, replacing Abdelghani Mohamed. He made an immediate impact, scoring a right-footed shot from the center of the box in the 58th minute. The goal was assisted by Omar El Wahsh.
