Les Aiglonnes secured a 2-1 win over tournament hosts, Black Queens to revive their campaign at the 2018 AWCON.

Goals from Bassira Toure and Aissata Traore proved enough to hand Mali the vital win and put Ghana on the edge of early elimination.

Mali now need a point from their last match against Algeria who have failed to win their two matches,  to progress to the semi-final of the competition.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, coach Mohammed Saloum revealed he studies the games of the Ghana team to identify their weaknesses and set up his team to exploit them.
