2019/20 Ghana Premier League: Yahaya Mohammed scores as Aduana Stars beat Medeama SC

Aduana Stars recorded 1-0 win over Medeama SC at the Nana Agyemang-Badu Park in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League courtesy Yahaya Mohammed's strike on Sunday.

The in-form striker scored late to hand the Ogya lads all three points as they moved top of the league table with 16 points, two points adrift Berekum Chelsea who lost 2-1 to Bechem United.

Aduana Stars made an impressive start to the game but failed to make their dominance count as they fluffed their lines to end the first-half in a goalless draw.

After the recess, Medeama improved by dominating the play but could not get pass Aduana Stars defense.

The hosts came close to take the lead through Yahaya Mohammed but goalkeeper Eric Antwi made a wonderful save to deny the league top scorer.

Mohammed made amends later as he shot the home side ahead with a close range finish to the delight of their fans at the Nana Agyemang-Badu Park.

Medeama SC went in search of the equaliser late in the game but Aduana Stars held on to record yet another win against the Yellow and Mauve lads.
