2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 30 report: Dreams share points with WAFA

Published on: 22 May 2022

Dreams FC shared the three points at stake with West African Football Academy (WAFA) in their matchweek 30 game at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

West African Football Academy took on Dreams FC without their head coach Zaragoza who resigned after WAFA was beaten 1-0 by Accra Lions.

Dreams FC had their own issues, as they played without their new head coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu.

He took over as manager earlier this month but has yet to win a single match in all competitions.

In his absence, coach Abdul Karim Zito returned to the bench to oversee the draw.

In the 25th minute, Kwabena Gogoe converted a cross from the left side to give Dreams an early lead.

West African Football Academy was able to pull level soon after, thanks to Justus Torsutsey.

Dreams FC is now 15th on the Ghana Premier League table with 34 points while West African Football Academy is 17th with 28 points.
