Berekum Chelsea got back to winning ways after clinching a resounding 5-0 win over King Faisal during their meeting on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues went into the tie having won just one of their last five league games and desperately needed the result which they managed to achieve.
Abdul Basit opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a smart finish. Bright Amponsah doubled the advantage eight minutes later and Kofi Owusu rounded up the scoring in the half in the 45th minute.
The home team did not slow down in the second half and were rewarded with another goal which came from Paul Attah Agyei in the 75th minute. At the dying embers of the game, they managed to find the back of the net once again, rubbing more salt to the wound of their opponents.
Berekum Chelsea are now 11th on the log and King Faisal are 17th.
