Matchday five of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League has been successfully cleared following the staging of all scheduled nine matches.
Games were played from Friday, November 4, to Monday, November 7 at the various match venues according to the plan of the Ghana FA.

The skillful forward was a key man for Gold Stars yesterday when the team hosted King Faisal at Duns Park.
In a closely contested encounter, Ibrahim Laar netted a sensational brace to propel his team to cruise past King Faisal with a vital 2-1 win.
Although some other players were in fine form for their teams, Ibrahim Laar takes the applause as the star of matchday 5 for single-handedly winning the game for Bibiani Gold Stars.
Team of the Week – Asante Kotoko:
Defending league champions, Asante Kotoko had a tough time on Sunday when the team hosted Samartex FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
In a game that the team was expected to win easily, the visitors proved to be a tough nut to crack and even had the lead before the hour mark.
It took a display of resilient character from Asante Kotoko to see the team come from behind to record a 2-1 victory.
Having won the game at the depth coupled with drama late in the game, the Porcupine Warriors are selected as the team of the week.
